Channing Tatum, Jenna Dewan Sell Beverly Hills Marital Home at a Loss

Now that Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan have officially offloaded the 90210 estate they once shared, the divorced actors can finally close the chapter on their nearly 10-year merger for good. Long ago vacated by the pair, the Cape Cod-style property first surfaced on the market in May, asking $6 million. Records reveal the property has been sold for $5.9 million to Sacramento real estate developer Glen Ghomeshi, making it likely that the house will either be radically transformed or perhaps even torn down entirely.

The sale netted Tatum and Dewan $75,000 less than they paid filmmaker Roberto Sneider for the place back in 2015; that’s just part of a hefty loss the pair faced on the place, especially when factoring in six years of carrying and renovation costs, along with taxes and substantial realtor commissions.

Nestled behind a lengthy gated driveway within a gated, celeb-studded community — where nearby neighbors range from Lisa Vanderpump, Demi Moore and Jessica Alba, to Jon Voight and Garmin heir Ken Kao — the estate was previously owned by Carrie Fisher, who sold it to Hollywood agent Kevin Huvane in 1994. He held onto the place until 2011, at which time it was scooped up by Sneider, a member of Mexico’s wealthy Oberfeld family.

Originally completed in 1950, the home was rebuilt in 1977 and has since undergone extensive renovations. Inside, almost 5,000 square feet of living space on three levels includes a combined living/dining room area sporting soaring ceilings and direct access to the exterior gardens, along with a gourmet kitchen outfitted with marble countertops and high-end stainless appliances, and a wood-paneled bonus room that could be used as a gym or media room.

Upstairs, there’s a master suite and four guest rooms, plus a standalone “artist studio.” The undeniable star of the show, however, are the picturesque one-acre grounds, complete with expansive gardens, grassy lawns shaded by ancient oaks, numerous decks ideal for al fresco entertaining, and a freeform pool boasting a raised spa and Baja shelf.

The erstwhile couple have since moved on to new residential circumstances. Tatum now makes his home in a $5.6 million rustic farmhouse in Brentwood’s Mandeville Canyon, while Dewan is set up at a $4.7 million mansion in Encino.

Rayni Williams of The Beverly Hills Estates and Laura Brau of Compass were the listing agents, with Jen Puz and Victoria Risko of Sotheby’s International Realty repping the buyer.
