Pacific Palisades

Pacific Palisades is an affluent residential neighborhood tucked between the Santa Monica Mountains and the Pacific Ocean. Temescal Gateway Park offers hiking trails with sweeping coastline views, and the sandy Will Rogers State Beach provides access to a 22-mile beachfront bike path. Landmarks include the sumptuous Getty Villa museum showcasing Greek and Roman antiquities, and the mid-century modern Eames House. I highly recommend visiting the Caruso Project for lunch on the patio at Porta Via, an ice cream at McConnell’s Fine Ice Creams, or a drink at the Draycott. If you are in town for the 4th of July, you can run in the famous 5K or 10K race, watch the town’s parade in the afternoon, and then enjoy live music with fireworks at Palisades High School at night.
